House Rules

Rules are expected to be followed at ALL times. They are in place for you and others safety and comfort.

General House Rules​

​

  1. No mail or packages can be received at the crash pad at any time, except for expected food or grocery deliveries. 

  2. The crash pad cannot be used as a personal nor permanent address.

  3. Payment is due by 5:00pm MST, on the 1st of each month. A $50 late fee applies after that, with an additional $5 per day until paid in full.

  4. Dispose of trash in the designated trash cans when full.

  5. Take the trash cans out on Fridays. Bring them back in after they are emptied on Saturdays. 

  6. Either party can terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. If we do not receive your notice 30 days prior to your leaving, you will be charged for the next month.

  7. ABSOLUTELY NO Guests are allowed on the premises. Only paying customers are permitted. This is for the comfort and security of everyone who is paying to stay here.

  8. Be respectful and considerate of others’ need for rest.

  9.  Clean your personal living areas and a  share of the common living areas.

  10.  Space heaters, candles and open flames are strictly prohibited on the property.

  11. Smoking on the property is strictly prohibited. 

  12. Clean up after yourself and leave the space as you found it or better.

  13. Keep your area tidy and keep your possessions orderly.

  14. Rotate trash duty upon all occupants.

  15. Turn off all lights and lock doors when leaving.

  16. Absolutely no illegal substances or activities are allowed.

  17. Consider purchasing renter's insurance for personal belongings, as they are not covered by homeowners' insurance. 

  18. The owner is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged items.  

  19. Notify owners when essential items are at half stock, not completely gone (eg. toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, sugar, dishwasher soap, propane, laundry detergent or softener sheets).

  20. Report any problems or conflicts immediately (between you and another tenant or other tenants); drama or disrespect will not be tolerated. 

  21. Violation of these rules may result in immediate lease termination without refund.

  22. These guidelines are subject to amendment at any time.

Kitchen Rules​

  1. Store all canned and dry goods in the pantry labeled with your name.

  2.  Anything in the refrigerator or freezer must be labeled with your name and date.

  3.  Use Ziploc bags with your name and date for leftovers, opened containers, and potentially leaky items (e.g., packaged meats).

  4. Clean kitchen items immediately after use. Wash, dry, and put away any dishes used.

  5. Clean up any mess you make, including countertops, sink, floor, microwave, refrigerator, stove, and coffee bar area.

  6. Ensure the food and beverages you consume belong to you.

Bathroom Rules​

  1. Don't leave personal items in the showers or bathrooms. Store your personal items under the sink with your name and be mindful of space.

  2. Clean up after yourself, including splatter on the mirror and faucet, hair clippings, and toothpaste in the sink. Wipe bathroom countertops after each use.

  3. Remove hair from the shower drain after each use. We pride ourselves on having a clean and comfortable crash pad, and excessive messiness is not tolerated.

  4. Where shower curtains are present, close after use to allow for proper drying and to prevent mildew.

  5. Please immediately wipe up any spills or mess if you accidentally pee on the toilet, floor, or surrounding areas.

  6. Only flush toilet paper and human waste; all other items go in the trash.

  7. Hang damp and used towels on your designated hook on your bunk, not on the floors or beds.

Bedroom Rules​

  1. Quiet hours are from 9:00pm - 8:00am.  Avoid taking/making calls in the bedrooms during these times.

  2. Overnight guests are not permitted. 

  3. Each person has their designated bed, and hot bunking is not allowed.

  4. You are responsible to bring your OWN sheets, pillowcases, blankets and towels.

  5. Sleep in your bed.  The living room is a common area for everyone, not a place for sleeping.

  6. Do not switch rooms or beds without prior permission, as beds may already be assigned.

Laundry Rules​

​

  1. Conserve the provided laundry supplies to ensure continued use.

  2. Be efficient with your laundry, using quick load settings when possible.

  3. Always unplug and put away the steamer after use.

  4. Clean the dryer vent after each load.

  5. If house towels are in the dryer, fold them and put them away in their designated place.

Pool Rules​

​

The Pool is a great benefit to this property. Please help secure ongoing enjoyment by following posted rules and common sense including the following: 

  1. Do not use the tub if you have infectious diseases.

  2. Avoid using detergent, soaps, or oils in the tub.

  3. The use of drugs, alcohol, or medication before or during tub use may pose a drowning risk.

  4. Consult your doctor if you are on medication.

  5. Do not turn off water, mess with the pool filter or move pool vacuum. 

  6. Do not use glassware near the tub; broken glass will result in draining, cleaning, and refilling the pool at your expense.

  7. This pool is treated with chemicals, including chlorine. If you are allergic to chlorine, avoid using the pool.

  8. Abote Crash Pads are not liable for any reactions or illnesses following pool use.

  9. Report any direct damage caused to the pool to the manager immediately. Charges may apply.
